Can I use PayPal on Coles or Woolworths?

You can use Paypal at Woolworths but not yet with Coles

Woolworths Online now accepts PayPal. It accepts payments by credit or debit card – MasterCard, VISA, AMEX and Diners. You can also pay with your PayPal account or Wish gift cards, and business customers and can apply for a 30 day interest free credit account to process payment on a monthly invoice.

When you use PayPal at Woolsworth you have to select PayPal for your preferred payments and you will be directed to their Purchase Agreement section which will state that you have agreed to using your PayPal account for all future purchases from Woolworths Limited. You will be given the option to agree to this to continue with your order. You can change your preferred payment method or cancel this authorisation at any time in your PayPal account. You are also welcome to contact their Online Team on 1800 000 610 if you would like to request for your PayPal account to be unlinked from your Online account anytime.

Coles does not allow PayPal. They only accept Cash, EFTPOS, Coles MasterCard, Coles Group Card, Credit cards include Visa, Master Card, Diners Club and American Express. Coles and Coles Group & Myer Gift Cards, Selected shopping centre vouchers and Traveller’s and Personal Cheques (provided with valid identification)

Woolworth and Coles are both large firms in Australia that are particularly for serving the consumers with variety of products.  They came into existence almost the same time with Woolworth being established in 1924 whereas Coles in 1914. Coles operates 762 stores in Australia accommodating over 100,000 workers. On the other hand, Woolworth operates 750 stores within the borders of Australia. Coles has yet to open its account with Paypal.
